From VR sculpting to realistic texturing: carving a wooden statue with Adobe Substance 3D
Discover the power of texturing with Substance 3D! Louise Melin will create a wooden statue starting from a simple - almost lowpoly - sculpt in Substance 3D Modeler VR, and then turn it into something highly realistic. Throughout the process, she will keep a focus on giving the look and feel of carved wood through textures rather than geometry, allowing for a powerful non-destructive workflow. Keeping in mind the phrase, "Work smarter, not harder," Louise will demonstrate how Substance 3D Designer and Substance 3D Painter can make exploration and iteration fast and easy. The session will also cover some of the latest features that were implemented in the Substance 3D apps over the last few months.
